BASE Provision

Body and Soul Education (BASE) is a Mental Health provision for children and young people in schools. With a focus on social emotional learning, StreetzAhead provides a weekly onsite mentor that supports up to 8 students with regular mentoring sessions.

BASE provides a hollistic approach, meeting the child where they are at on their own journeys. Session focuses have in the past included: relationships, communication, physical and emotional needs, reflective practice, observing self, Zones of Regulation.

BASE supports the wider school community and promotes the idea of a whole-school approach to Mental Health.

LAT was created in 2012 with five schools spread across the London Borough of Haringey. Our mission is to establish, maintain, carry on, manage and develop Church of England Schools across the Diocese of London. Our aim is that every child should have the opportunity to flourish and develop into a rounded adult who can live life to the full.
